During the festival other activities complementary to the readings were carried out.

| On Friday July 11, 2014 a workshop of professional’s playwrights was held, with attendance by authors of the Festival of Dramaturgy on the Crisis PIIGS and authors of the Obrador Internacional de Dramatúrgia of La Sala Beckett As you can see from the photos, the session had a performative character: in a space-island, the authors were divided into three groups, they shared a coffee and different exercises of collaborative writing supervised and directed by three croupiers were performed. The experience was interesting and fun, in addition to helping authors of different nationalities and languages to get to know each other and create together. |

The word “crisis” in Chinese ( ) is composed of two ideograms, the first means “danger” and the second “opportunity.” It is a very interesting definition because many concepts and experiences can be only understood by displaying the other side of the coin. For example, we can understand “day” in opposition of “night”, or “good” for its antagonistic “bad”. It is with this argument that Marta Rosa Lladó and Marta Oró, have devised this art project. They asked different artists and professionals, who worked selflessly, to send them a personal vision “danger” and “opportunity”. And here you have the result. |
